Director, Sales

We are looking for a savvy sales executive with a proven track record of success building, managing, and scaling high performing sales teams and revenue across a variety of market segments. Working alongside the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for crafting the overall sales strategy for your team while providing counsel and input on the go-to-market strategy and market evolution.

 

What you will do everyday:

 

  • Lead from the front - drive your national sales teams to success, driving attainment and customer acquisition in a smart, sustainable way that supports overall business goals

  • Utilize your extensive experience in inside models to deploy and target resources

  • Continue the search for what’s better - using analytics and data, evaluate current processes, pipelines and spend - continually reevaluate and research ways to stay on top

  • Attract, coach and develop a world class sales team

  • Set aggressive targets and create strategic plans to achieve those goals - provide operational updates to broader cross-functional team (Marketing, Client Services, Product) to ensure lockstep

  • Coach your leaders and teams on how to execute tactically on the model you’ve created above - lead them to success, rolling your sleeves up where needed

What you need to bring to the table:

  • At least 10 years sales experience, with 5+ years in a management position

  • Must be a role model; this position requires you to play an active role in your team's success

  • Experience selling to small / medium business

  • Disciplined, organized, and self-directed

  • Capable of building a flawless sales process and methodology

  • Ability to accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales

  • Build upon a culture of innovation, positivity, collaboration, and accountability

  • Experience with go-to-market strategy; compensation; pricing models; hiring; and training

  • Deliver key management reporting and data analysis, including sales and pipeline metrics, forecasting, and sales cycle analysis

  • Collaborate with Client Services, Marketing, and Product to produce world-class workflows and product offerings

  • Comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape to better leverage our resources toward the mission

  • Proof of increased revenue and sales productivity in most recent job
